Deriaz Slater celebrate 30 successful years
Deriaz Slater completes 30 successful years in business, celebrating in style while growing the business with a full range of professional work, alongside its agency transactions.
In 2015 Paul Deriaz, Chartered Surveyor and Town Planner, celebrates his 30th year in business, a huge achievement in this changing world. Deriaz Slater has been trading
since 1985, and is a full service, independent commercial property practice, regulated by The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Deriaz Slater operates mainly in the Thames Valley area, with a particular focus on Marlow, Maidenhead and High Wycombe.
To mark its 30th anniversary, Deriaz Slater held a drinks reception at the Higginson Room in Court Garden, with over 150 people in attendance. The event, held on Tuesday 20th October 2015, was a great success, with the food being supplied by The Hand and Flowers team and celebrity Tom Kerridge, local business man and TV chef, spoke about why he enjoyed working and living in Marlow.
Paul Deriaz told how the practice began and the changes he has seen in the market over the last 30 years. He said “My vision for the business was, and still is, twofold. Firstly, to express and maintain a first class, professional service in the local community based upon integrity, flexibility and market expertise. Secondly, I endeavour to create a really strong team ethic and value each individual for their contribution to our goals and objectives. Moving forward as a practice, we strive for growth, particularly consultancy and professional work and our current team have got the skills and capacity to achieve that.”
Deriaz Slater prides itself on continuing growth as a business and is constantly upgrading systems to adapt to changing working practices. It has recently upgraded its IT systems to ensure it is ahead of the curve in regards to ever changing technology. The team has also recruited two new highly regarded Associate Partners, Mark Potter and Peter Wilder, who bring many years of agency experience and expertise.
Paul concluded by saying: “We work hard to maintain our excellent reputation and aspire to be the first name on people’s lips for both agency and professional work in this part of the Thames Valley.”
