With a few exceptions, including if your property is a listed building, a temporary structure or is a place of worship, there is a legal requirement for all commercial properties for sale or to let to have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). An EPC is used to rate how efficient your commercial property is using grades A-G, with A being the most efficient and you can be fined if you are unable to make an EPC available to any prospective tenant or purchaser.
The Deriaz Slater team can organise the inspection for you, in a timely manner, and the surveyor can offer advice on ways to improve the energy efficiency of your property, in order to reduce costs and enhance capital values.
