Marlow Remembrance Sunday Memorial Service

Added on Nov 11, 2013

Hundreds of people lined Marlow High Street yesterday as Remembrance Sunday ceremonies took place across the country.  At 11:00 am in Marlow, Paul Deriaz, in his new role as Vice President for Marlow Chamber of Commerce had the privilege of laying a commemorative wreath at the War Memorial, alongside Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce President, Tim Graham.

Around 3,000 people witnessed the Remembrance Service and Parade which heard music from the Marlow Town Band, attended by local councillors, the Scouts Association, members of the Paul-D-Memorial-Pic-edit-239x300 Armed Forces, the British Legion and the Rotary all paying their respects to our fallen service men and women.

Paul Deriaz said: “I was proud to have played a small role in Marlow’s Remembrance Service and Parade.  It was good to see so many townsfolk gathered together in remembrance.”

Paul Deriaz was recently elected Vice President of the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce. The role will run for one year.
